Bullies and Bullying

For all of us - parents, students, and teachers - bullying looms as a terrible problem. Recently there have been many books, both fiction and non-fiction, dealing with the issue. I'm appending a list of books that touch on bullying and its various consequences.

  1. I have noticed your list on the right about books about bullies and bullying and i think that a good book that is good for that category is 13 reasons why by jay asher.
it is about a girl who becuse of bullying, commits suicide and she leaves 7 tapes explaining the 13 reasons why she did so. Those tapes now have to be mailed to the 13 people that are involved in the problem.
even though i think the whole situation is kind of drastic i think that it really shows how someone can be effected by bullying.

  2. Thank you for thinking of it! I'm going to add it to the list. A terrific book, wasn't it? I kept wishing her alive again in some way, even though it was impossible.
